How to make an easy satisfying healthy meal Hi guys, I'm here to tell you how to build a satisfying healthy meal in simple steps. When you eat low-fat vegan you don't have to cut back on calories and you should just eat until you are satisfied.
1. Pick 2 or more vegetables (you can use frozen if it's convenient) 2. Pick your starch
I reccomend just putting salt and pepper on your vegetables if your protein is going to be flavorful, or flavor everything the same way. Sometimes mixing flavors doesn't work but just experiment.

I believe you should wait until after thanksgiving to move on to Christmas but in this case you're probably going to be black Friday shopping so here is a quick gift guide for people who you just have no idea what they want. Note: the preteen and teen will most likely both work for 13 year old boys. These also work for Tomboys. Little Boy (2-5) >Stuffed animals >Kid movie >Hot wheels set >Candy (if okay with parents) >Basically any age appropriate toy >ANYTHING with their favorite character on it, including a toothbrush. (my cousin got a batman toothbrush for Christmas and he was really excited) >Books with sound (there are some books that will have audio as they turn pages) Tip: If you want them to love your present don't get them clothes, they would much rather get a toy when they're this young. Also if you give them money or a gift card they won't know what to do with it. Big Boy (6-10) >Remote control car >Scooter, kid car, or bike. >Superhero toys >Hot wheels set >Interesting Books (varies for the age of the kid and how much they like books) >Cartoon character wrist watch. >Fun in the tub set (Box with bath crayons, bath bomb, bubble bath, other soapy fun) >Art kit. (some kids don't like art you can usually tell if they can or not if you met them) Tip: If you want them to love your present don't get them clothes, they would much rather get a toy when they're this young. Preteen Boy (10-13) Preteen boys are very hard to shop for but here are some ideas: >Lego Sets >Graphic T-shirt with their favorite characters >Video games for whatever console they own, or Game stop gift card >Board Game (not something too young or too hard, etc Guess Who) >Minecraft toys/action figures Teen Boy (13-17) >Graphic T-shirt with their favorite characters or band. >Video games for whatever console they own, or Game stop gift card. >Strap-back hat. >iTunes gift card. >Air Jordan shoes, and/or socks (more on the expensive side) >Movie box (box with a movie, some popcorn, a soda and some candy) >Phone case (make sure it's for their specific phone) Grown men/Dads/Uncles >Money
>Restaurant gift card >BBQ sauce sets (find at Ross, TJMaxx, etc) >Food sets (you can put together a basket of all his favorite snacks) >Clothes (including ties and socks) >Coffee mug >Home Depot gift card >Razor set Hello girls and guys today I am going to be showing you some fall room decor I threw together with stuff I already had. I am going to try to do an update of more decor this week.
I made this to co-ordinate with my How to have a party for under $25 post I did a few weeks ago and should be under my How-To & D.i.y filter. Prices are approximate. Burlap Banner - $1.25 Paper Chain Streamers - 1.00 Photo Booth Props - 5.00 (store's price is $15) Photo Booth/Selfie Station - 2.00 the one I threw together isn't very pretty but it's just an example. All you do is put up a background of something from the dollar store like a foam board or a table cloth or poster board then you decorate it or ask the guests to sign it (only works with board not tablecloth) and put the props on a small table beside it or in a bucket on the wall like I did here but on a small table is better. you can also buy a empty frame and the people hold it up in front of them when the picture is taken. some people actually make social media cake pops or emoji cookies and put those by the photo booth because of selfies going on Instagram and all. to find out how to make social media cake pops it's by nerdy nummies on YouTube and you'll have to look up emoji cookies I forgot the channel. Make it Sparkle - 2.00 + stuff you're decorating's prices.
The cost of the party mostly revolves around food and drinks. So if you need to have the cheapest party possible you aren't going to be having fancy drinks. The cheapest thing you can have to drink (that's not water) is lemonade.
To make your lemonade look fancier put it in a punch bowl or a glass mixing bowl with a plastic ladle ($1 at Dollar Tree) your lemonade cost should be around $5 for the lemons and sugar. to make it look decent put lemon slices floating in it and if you want put some strawberry slices or some food coloring in it. As for actual food you can throw a potluck by asking each guest to bring a covered dish and you only have to serve the drinks and some small snacks like chips and salsa and crackers with cheese and lunch meat rolled up (around $10) For serving the food you will need disposable napkins, cups, and plates (around $5) Now you need is decorations! Grab 3 balloons from the Dollar Tree ($3 +tax) you can make free decorations if you already have art supplies, or you can ask an artsy friend to make you some decorations. (I will post how to make party decorations soon) Finally you just need to play music from your computer or have musician friends play at your party. As for invitations just invite people in person, by phone, or on social media. |
