Today my family went to my pappy's condo on a beach to celebrate his birthday. We ate slaw dogs, cake, and ice cream, and we went and took pictures on the beach. This was our first time going there and we really liked his condo and his food he made for us.
Thank you Pappy, Happy Birthday. I thought I uploaded something on here Monday but apparently I did not. Sorry about that. I've been making planned dinners every day this week. Today I made a very very delicious food called Deep dish pizza pot pie out of the $5 dinner mom cookbook. It was so good just ask C.c she does not mind judging less than perfect food. Also new is that I have been reading about poetry and drama in Language Arts and I love poetry, some of you have probably read my poetry before I may have posted two or three poems and such on here on various occasions. I have written more but some of it is just personal jumble jamble you wouldn't understand. I also read a bit of Shakespeare in Language Arts and it was really nice, I love Shakespeare, I've written that before but yeah. Also today I made this little comic for my friends to read called "Road Trip Horrors 1" on some comic making website I forgot what it's called but you'll find it if you look up comic maker on google. I remember this happening alot when we traveled where someone took off their shoes and we were like "PUT YOUR SHOES BACK ON IT STINKS" The characters in my comic aren't supposed to look like any particular people, just random. and last week I drew this little comic called "Ann" and it wasn't the best comic ever but atleast my friends liked it. It's not laugh out loud funny but it's OK for my first comic.
Today was a pretty cool day, we went shopping, then went home and C.c made sushi (the picture to the left is what my dad made) and I tried a speck of smoked salmon and it was delicious so I tried a piece of sushi and it was good but I don't like how it's so much in your mouth. And the seaweed is chewy but it tasted so good! I actually used to have a sushi haters club because last time I tried sushi I hated it, but it could be that certain kind of sushi. We even had little nick-names like mine was Ke-su-ha which is short for Kelsie Sushi Hater. Oh, and about the shopping, I got some shoes that look good on me and a yellow shirt that I'm going to put with a skirt that's coming in the mail from CATO so after I get all that I will put together outfits and take pictures of each one and show you my new wardrobe! (I'm donating most of my old one) I'm really excited and I can't wait until they get here! Last Saturday my friend came to our house and we had such a good time! First we went to Congo river mini golf and we got to hold a baby gator!! and we had so much fun playing mini golf and doing the scavenger hunt. Then we came home and made pizzas (I think we all made one) and talking about things teen girls like talking about and doing a little bit of internet (all together not separate) and we decorated a cupcake and hand-sewed barbie clothes (if we did actual clothes it'd be a waste of fabric and take too long) and then we ended the day with a movie and fell asleep. The next day we went to church then after church we went to Jason's Deli and we all got soup and salad. I got chicken chili, C.C got french onion soup, and our friend got Seafood gumbo. The french onion soup was waaaaaaaaaaaaay too salty so she had to trade it for seafood gumbo. After we had Jason's free ice cream and then went home. After we got home we were just lounging around and then not too long after she got picked up. (more pics coming soon) So today we went to the mall and looked around at Dillards, nothing, Macy's, nothing, Beach Plus, got nothing, and walked around the mall But the best part was when he got to go in the photo booth! It was really a blast. My first time going in one. On the third picture we were kind of like um what do we do? Then we were going to all do what Alexandra did but as you can see the picture snapped before we could and on the last picture It snapped before I could give Caylie bunny ears so as you can see I'm blocking my own face, LOL The second picture is my favorite but I also really like how I look in the third one. When leaving we stopped by the delicious Auntie Annie's Pretzels (haven't been to in years!) and got 2 pretzels to share (one sour cream and onion and one cinnamon sugar) We also stopped by Publix and got what we need to make lasagne for tomorrow! :D At Publix they had a really weird sample that was chilled cucumber melon soup with really good pork sirloin. The cucumber melon soup had cucumber, jalapeno, honey dew, and green onion. It tasted better than it sounds but still not good enough for me to eat, the jalapeno was hurting my throat and after reading the recipe I didn't want it. If you want me to email you the photo booth pictures just comment below and I will be able to see your email if you put it in the form when commenting (it won't be public if you don't put it in the comment section just the email slot) Today was a great day. I kind of woke up later than I wanted to (8:20) but I'm planing on doing better tomorrow. We started school at 9:00 with saying Pledges to the bible, American flag, and Christian flag; which we have never done before but it's in our new curriculum's schedule so we did. Then we started subjects, took a break and exercised in the backyard then went for a every short bike ride (flat tires) After that I had another subject then we had Annie Chun's Ramen noodles for lunch! After that another subject or two for C.c but I was done because we didn't get my other subjects until my dad got home. I really love this new curriculum it's called Life Pac. Each subject has 9 books, one for each month, which you do 2-4 pages a day in then move on to the next book. I had alot of math problems to do but I guess it's because I'm in high school now :D So when did you or kids/teens in your area start school? Tell me in the comments! #<3U2DMOON |
