Again, all from pinterest. More mother's day stuff coming all week!!
If you were at Caylie's Sweet 16 you saw the picture slideshow I made that was all about her. First it had all the good pictures I could find of her from when she was maybe 7 and older and then it had all of her favorite things on it with a picture. Now I will show you how to make one of these for any party you are hosting. How to Use Movie Maker What you do first is you open "Movie Maker" which you should have already in your computer if you have a PC. You will see what I'm showing below, only without my pictures. To put pictures in the movie maker you can either press Add Videos and Photos, or you can drag them from your pictures folder in your computer's files. I circled the caption button in red, press this to add captions like how on that picture I wrote "Kelsie's Favorite Shoes are Converse" I circled Title in blue, press this and it will add a blank picture to your pictures and a caption, you can drag this and any of your pictures to a different place I circled Add Music in green, to use this just press it and it will give you a few options for adding music experiment with the other features until your video looks perfect. I also wanted to mention I made my KBC introduction video using this program. Putting the Slideshow together What I did was go online and look up a bunch of my favorite things; Favorite candy, car, color, book, shoes (you can do your favorite clothing item), flower, hobby, animal, ice cream flavor, pattern, anything you favor.
Then you can take all the pictures of the special person you can find and put them in the movie maker the same way you did the favorite things pictures. (will take longer to load) If you want the picture to stay up longer or not stay as long go to edit, click each picture you want to slow down and then modify the duration. Now all you have to do is add animations, and visual effects if you want. I was trying to make up an original theme for my party, so I thought "well what's my favorite animal?" I really like polar bears guys they're my favorite because they're adorable and strong and scary at the same time. The only setback for this theme is that my birthday is not in winter so it's more of an Antarctica party? but I thought I'd share it anyway because i really like the idea! So my idea is sort of like a winter wonderland party, but it's incorporating the beautiful animals in the poles. But I don't think I will be having this theme just saving the idea for later. Decorations White, light blue, and silver colors Snowflakes Polar Bears, Penguins, Seals, etc Fun/extras Snow cones Snow machine Photo Booth (that is an essential) with icy props I was thinking that because my birthday is candy themed I could dress up as Princess lollipop from Candy Land, then I thought maybe it could be candy land themed but then I wondered if it was too kiddy but lots of people do Alice in Wonderland themed Sweet 16, but I'm not sure if I will or not I'm still deciding.
Our little robo dwarf hamster Rose passed away a few hours ago. We had a tiny little funeral. We put her on a napkin in a cut paper bag then put a bunch of tiny weed flowers and on top of her in the bag with a rose on top. Then we buried her beside the rose bush we have beside our house. We had a little eulogy by Caylie and me. Then we all pushed dirt on top of her and put more flowers on top.
Another theme I am looking into for my party is sweet sweet 16, which basically is candy themed! I am really thinking I will be doing this idea, I have most of it planned out but we'll see what's to come! The colors will be green, and pink and black and white. I also will be decorating with polka dots! this is how Bella looked in the winter before she shed her fur, she literally lost 3 chins now. this is how Bella looked before winter and the one beside it is her now. brw it's not her birthday, her birthday is august 30th (that's when we got her I mean)
You probably guessed it by now, but my theme is going to be Paris. I'm going to look up some more things about Paris so it's more accurate but some thing I know I want to have for entertainment is a Photo Booth and if you want to do this idea too then another good idea would be a caricature artist but Caylie had one of those last year so this needs to be more unique, plus I probably should be using the extra money to find a venue if we're using one. I have more plans but I don't want to post them all because then it wouldn't be a surprise for the guests! BTW if you didn't know my birthday is in September, I'm just thinking ahead. Try to incorporate as many bright springy colors as you can. Also try not to wear dark colors such as gray, black, and brown. Usually people wear fancier things too. A Dress is probably best, but if you're like me and you don't have one that's not black and white here are some ideas from polyvore. (The last one has 3 pairs of shoes for examples)
