I was reading Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and I really liked the way all the characters spoke. So I looked up what kind of english it was and it turns out it's not "Old English" as you would expect it's actually called "Early Modern English" and Old English is actually very confusing and hard to read. A while ago in Language Arts they were talking about all this stuff but I guess it's just better to get inspired first by Shakespeare's poetry and stories. On http://shakespeare.mit.edu/ you can read his writings and they are all divided into scenes which would be extremely convenient if you were doing a play. If you would like to learn more about Early Modern English go to: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Early_Modern_English

Seems like everyone is writing a Christmas Wishlist this month. I already wrote mine but sometimes I wonder if anyone is reading the wishlists people make. This year I'm planning on making a giving list where I write out what I'm getting everyone for Christmas. The only problem really is them finding it! In the comments below you can write out your wishlist or you can take a look at mine at http://www.pinterest.com/cayliebrown/kb-christmas-wishlist-2014/ If you're not feeling good and you have a cold or something you might want these good tips, essentials, and advice! And No I'm not sick but people I know are! Because it's fall and the cold is here you should study these. The Essentials List: Water You have to have alot of water when you're sick. It really helps, trust me. Tissues! of course! tissues are like the most important thing. You should sneeze and cough into your tissues instead of your hand because it reduces the risk of spreading germs! Wipes or Hand Sanitizer you've gotta have something to clean your hands every time after you sneeze/cough on your hand or touch your nose or mouth (don't know why you'd touch your mouth but I guess you could) Hot Lemon and Honey Green Tea Just mix together hot water, a green tea bag, sliced lemon, and a tsp or more of honey then voila you have a sore throat/stuffy nose cure! The lemon and the heat is for the built up mucus, the honey soothes your throat, and the green tea has anti-oxidants, and the lemon is also a great source of vitamin C which will boost your immune system! Soup Soup is a great thing to eat while sick because you're getting more water, light on your stomach (unless it's chunky, and if you have veggies in your soup that's great vitamins. Your soup should have garlic which also boosts your immune system Sleep Sleep is very important, make sure you get as much sleep as possible so your body has a chance to heal. I know when you wake up your nose is stuffy and all but just drink something hot when you wake up to clear your sinuses Greek Yogurt Greek yogurt as well as other yogurt as certain healthy bacterias that help your system I'm not sure what they're called but Greek yogurt has more of them than regular yogurt. Greek yogurt is so much healthier than regular yogurt Fruit with Vitamin C Oranges. Strawberries, Grapes, Pineapple, Avocados, Tomatoes, Bananas, Blueberries, Papaya fruit, Apricots, Grapefruit, Cantaloupe, Watermelon, Mango, Kiwifruit, Lemons, and Clementine. You could also make a smoothie which would soothe your throat. Popsicles or Sherbert Are really good if you have a fever plus they should have vitamin C (get the ones made with real fruit) Tips
Colors that usually shouldn't go together
In case you didn't know October is breast cancer awareness month; also known as Pink Ribbon Month. When I first heard of this I kinda wondered why it has it's own month but I guess it's very common. And it seems like everyone's already aware of it but I guess it could be because of this pink month thing that everyone is. I never even heard of it being breast cancer awareness month in October until I moved. How long has this been going on? Anyways because of the pink month I am thinking of making some pink ribbon cookies or something pink for you guys and you should be looking forward to seeing that If I do a craft or something rare I'll write it on the new stuff page! It seems like other holidays have songs except thanksgiving. The only Thanksgiving song I've heard of is "Albakurkey is a Turkey". I don't know why thanksgiving would need songs but it would just be cool if it did have songs so I looked some up and I couldn't find any actually written for Thanksgiving. Someone was suggesting "Food, Glorious Food" From an Oliver Twist movie and Count your Blessing which is a Christmas song. If you have a Thanksgiving song write it in the comments.
Is the snowman me too creepy? Should I change the sprinkles on the cookies? Let me know how 2.0 should be different in the comments! Seriously people I'm talking to EVERYONE who is looking at this. I know you're looking at this because I have a statistics page that tells me how many visitors come to my site so don't pretend you're not there. Please comment! Tomorrow I will probably make Thanksgiving KBC Logo 1.0 so be there! I know, I know Christmas is after thanksgiving but I'm more excited for Christmas. I'm so sorry it's almost been a week since I uploaded. I didn't realize it and I am sorry. Over the weekend I was at a wedding and got to see lots of my family and that was pretty cool. I had alot of fun there. I would really appreciate it if you guys commented on what my blog needs. I want honesty here, come on tell me what it's missing or I can't fix it. Just try to be nice about it. example: "I really would like more crafts", rather than saying "Your crafts are soooooo lame and there's hardly any of them" because being nice about little things like that just makes the world a better place. :D Today my sister and I was babysitting one of my little sister's friends. It was alot of fun. We decorated plastic cups with paper mache (which ended up sticking). We read stories and watched Story Keepers. My sister and her played with balloons and dolls and other little toys. We cooked them chicken nuggets and french fries and they also ate apple with peanut butter, and some watermelon. She told C.c she had the best day ever. After her mom came we went over to her house then went swimming. I watched a Roomspiration Video by Beth Mota and so I am thinking I will make the classroom back into my room and just move the table into my sister's room because it has enough space and just keep the book shelf with the books in my room. Below are pictures I like for decorating!
