Step 1: Make a list of who you want to invite. If two of your friends think badly of each other you should take the main person to the side beforehand and talk to them about it and hopefully diminish the dislike that person has for the other. Make sure it's okay with everyone who lives with you if you have this sleepover. Your parents may want to make rules such as to go to bed before midnight and clean up any trace of the party. If you have a sibling of opposite gender you could organize for him/her to spend the night with one of their friends or a family member. Remember to only invite as many people as you have room for. It's okay to only invite one or two friends. Step 2: Pick a theme. Do you want to have an ordinary sleepover? If so you may still want a color theme. Such as pink; you would then make everything pink that you're using: Pink treats, pink nail polish (If you are planning on makeup as an activity), pink invitations, pink drinks, and pink utensils/plates/bowls. If you want an actual pinterest is a great place to find inspirational pictures and ideas from various blogs. Step 3: Check the details and then send! Find a date good for everyone. After figuring out the date and time of arrival and pick up you can send the invitations by phone, email, letter, or in person. Step 4: Menu A common mistake is to forget about breakfast when planning the sleepover menu. You will need to plan dinner if they come at or before 5pm. You also will need snacks and perhaps popcorn or chips for a movie. Example: Dinner - Pizza and soda Snacks - Popcorn, Bottle caps, and icecream Breakfast - Waffles with choice of toppings: strawberry, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, caramel. ~Or for a slightly healthier approach~ Dinner - Pizza and Juice Boxes Snacks - trail mix, popcorn, real fruit Popsicles Breakfast - Omelets: They get to pick what's in their omelet then either you or they make it. Step 5: Activities Pick out movies, board games, crafts, and activities that match your theme. Make sure that your guests are allowed to do each activity so they don't feel awkward or pressured.

We're actually not having a party for my birthday just a really small sleepover but I put together some stuff for us to do!
I also put walkee-talkees, gum, and would put movies, popcorn bags, and candy
If you're like me you really want to have a sleepover before school starts back, so here's some ideas for a back to school sleepover party! For the food you can just put sandwiches and chips with a juice box in a brown paper bag or you can make apple party plates (shown to the left) and give them something like pizza bites and grapes. As for games the kids can all take turns pretending to be teachers or you could have the party at a park and the kids can play on the playground. If you look at my new Back to School pinterest board! I have some pictures of crafts and stuff you can do. Boy sleepovers usually arn't as organized as girl sleepovers, but here's some ideas to make it a sucess
Fun Ideas:
Hide and Seek Sardines Board Games Simon Says Musical Chairs 20 Questions Truth or dare (ask them not to ask too harshly) M.A.S.H Haikai Town Cake Pops: If the sleepover was after a party it would be a great idea for the girls to make cake pops with the leftover cake, If not they can just make it from a cake mix Pizza: Ordering Pizza would be easier but making it is definitely more fun! To make sure there's as little mess as possible put newspaper on the table they're making them on so that flour doesn't go everywhere, then give each guest a piece of dough and let them roll it out and give them a plate with toppings to choose from to put on their pizza. Tell them to make their pizza where they can recognize it after you take it out the oven. Sandwich: If you want something easy just put a bunch of sandwich stuff on the table and let them all make their own sandwich, A good idea would be to give them cookie cutters to cut their bread into shapes Well Since it's summer and I have no more sweet 16 ideas, which is why I haven't posted anything in forever, I am so sorry about that I am going to try to post more now, anyways I am going to be doing sleepover ideas, since summer is the time for sleepovers!
