A family binder is basically a binder that includes information you can follow to get your house in shape. I really like "organizedness" so I'm gonna try making one of these binders, I got the idea from a YouTube Video which I will put a link to at the bottom of this article, click read more to see how to make one. What Does it contain? Calendar Print out a calendar to put in your binder so you can list all the events anyone in your primary family are planning to attend. Daily Goals At the top of the paper write "Daily Goals" then write the time you need to get up at the top, 8, for example, then write all the hours until bed down the paper like: 8. 9. 10. etc, then you write what you want to do at that time, only write necessary stuff this is not a to-do list just put down stuff like 8. Get up and get ready for the day, 9. School, 2. Nap for baby, etc you don't need to put something at every hour just what your goal is to do every day. Daily Goals 2 Put any information you need to remember or want to write out about your goals such as How to get ready for the day (this page is optional) Cleaning Schedule Make a chart and put Monday - Saturday along the top of the page and put a box for each thing you need to complete under the day, this is stuff you will need to do every week, some people also write down stuff they need to do every month Chore List The cleaning schedule above is not the Chore list because it's not designating any task to any certain person, so that's what this section is forMeal Plans Print out a meal planner chart or make your own, the one from that link also includes water and exercise. Food Expiration Document what food you have, the expiration date, what's in the freezer and when you put it in the freezer. Groceries Take your receipts and write down how much each thing you buy costs so you can plan menus accordingly Budget Write down your weekly or monthly income and separate how much you want to put into groceries, clothes, miscellaneous, and whatever else you pay for and here you keep record of how much you spend and on what then make it into a graph at the end of the month then put that in your binder and throw away the old records to put room for new, and the graph will be there in case you need the records. Contacts Put emergency phone numbers, and all the phone numbers from your phone, just all your contacts and your personal contact information because even though it's in your phone you never know if something may happen to your phone no matter how careful you are. Babysitting Information Write down everything your babysitter would need to know
School Schedule This only applies to homeschoolers, and some can't even use a schedule it just never works School Grades Write down every grade from each individual student and class Here is one of the videos I got ideas from this has like all the information I just said but I have some more information and links to charts to help you.
