Last week I went to Summer camp and I had so much fun. I made great new friends and I'll show you a few pictures while I was there. The first picture collage is of Disney night, comment if you want a description of any of the pictures.

You probably already know that making your own food is less expensive than eating out, especially when you are eating healthy. But I'm going to share a few things you buy at Cosco, Sam's Club, or any wholesale store that are healthy, easy for on-the-go, and cheap. I'm also sharing a few things that you can buy at any grocery store that is a good deal, and some tips for saving money at these stores. (Make sure you press the read more button)
Just so you know some of these things might be difficult for new employees to put into the register so they might think you can't order them so you can either straight up ask for a manager or you can just see if that employee knows how to do it. Press the read more button to see what you can order that's vegan, if you're not interested just keep scrolling it's going to be a bit long.
im so sorry I haven't posted in like forever so much has been going on I know I've said this before but I actually will be uploading more these upcoming summer months including this month, if you guys didn't know I went vegan a little more than a week ago if you want to know why I'd love to share with you but I just want you to know I don't think it was an easy choice, I don't expect you guys to go vegan just by reading my opinion, so don't think I'm doing this for attention or I'm trying to force you to go vegan. I just wanted to let you all know so that you aren't confused with upcoming posts that may mention something related to that topic. If you'd like to know what I eat as a vegan please check out my Instagram "missshe360". Also I know a lot of recipes on my recipe page are not vegan but I'm not taking them down because this blog is like my personal record of my past, you know what I mean? If you came here because I told you to check out my vegan recipes and you are also a vegan hello! Thank you so much for coming! I'll be uploading vegan recipes as often as I can remember to so stay tuned! And as for the rest of you thank you as well for reading this long post but after all this is a blog and I tend to keep my posts too short. I hope you all will stay I love you so much! Leave me a comment or something! 😘
so today is my mom's birthday And I do not have a present because I haven't been able to get out of the house besides going to work. So I'm going to make her something that hopefully she can use, click read more or the title to see full post.
You will need: 1 trash bag 2 large laundry baskets hangers Duster vaccum clean bed sheets time and patience Directions: 1. The first step is to get everything off the bed and put the sheets in one laundry basket you have set aside, put this basket outside the door of your room for later on. 2. Dust the fan. I do this early so I can clean up the dust that falls while doing the next steps. Turn the fan on low to keep yourself cool. 3. Put all the laundry on your now empty bed and sort it. If you have no laundry on the floor then you can organize your closet. Put all unwanted clothes in a trash bag or a box, put all clean clothes on hangers and put dirty clothes in your laundry basket. Hang up the clothes on hangers in the closet and fold up other clothes and put those aside until we move on to drawers. Put the dirty laundry basket outside of the door. 4. Take the laundry, extra hangers, and the bedsheets down to the laundry room. Wash the sheets, and put away the hangers, if there's any more laundry you need to fold to put away fold it and take it to your room and put with the other folded clothes. 5. Remake your bed with clean sheets or wait until the other sheets are clean while you complete the rest the steps. 6. Take anything that belongs to someone who lives with you out of your room and put it away. 7. Put things where they go, ex: books on book shelf toys in toy box suitcases in the attic shoes in the closet 8. Pick up all trash and put in trash bag
9. Organize everything, if you want more details comment and ask me. This includes drawers and this is when those folded clothes come in so put those away as you organize the drawers. This snack is so adorable, it's delicious and pretty much healthy compared to most snacks available. This would be a cute breakfast side in addition to being a cute snack. If you are interested in learning how to make the heart toothpicks it's pretty much self explanatory but if you want to have instructions just click read more! I did a Valentine's day room decor video last year or the year before so go find that post under a holiday or DIY filter that I have. But today I will tell you some new things you can do!
1. Heart Mason Jar candle (disclaimer: I made this up but I might not be the first one to make it up)
take a piece of cardboard and cut out a heart shape and then cut out another heart out of that one to make a 3 inch wide trim of the frame and the heart should be atleast 2 feet long now wrap that in pink ribbon or paint it pink then paint as many clothes pins as will fit lined up around the cardboard (look at the picture I recently got a job at Chick-fil-a and that's why I have hardly any time to post on here but I will try to pick up on this soon.
I'm going to Tampa, which is not far but I want to show you something travel related today so I decided to do eating healthy while traveling! I want to mention that these of course aren't as convenient most of the time but you have to go out of your way to be healthy.
First of all let's talk about those in the car snacks. When you stop at a gas station to grab some road trip food don't grab the candy! instead grab a piece of fruit, nuts, sunflower seeds (not the sugary ones), if you must have chips (do not get lays baked they have GMO corn) but try to find some only made with sunflower oil, potatoes, and sea salt, if you can find coconut oil, avocado oil, or olive oil that is even better, and as far as soda goes either grab water instead or grab Coca-Cola life which is made with cane sugar and Stevia instead of corn syrup, or grab a Snapple, or if they have it get honest tea or sweet leaf tea, get that. Now that we have snacks out the way let's talk about some healthy restaurants or sort of healthier options at fast food. (all of these are in USA) Crispers - Delicious soups, salads, and sandwiches Jason's Deli - Mostly organic food, they have soups, salad, sandwiches, and pastas Chipotle - even though they have huge portions they are non-GMO Burger FI - claims to have nothing artificial in their burgers. You can probably find healthy things hiding in any menu but just aim for lean meats, more veggies, less carbs, and nothing fried. It's best to not eat pork which is high in cholesterol, nitrates, and fat. now for some options in fast food Chick-fil-a - their grilled chicken is less fat, also they have a new super food side, when getting a beverage choose either their fresh lemonade, bottled water or teas Wendy's - now has hormone free chicken on their salads and in one sandwich, just avoid bacon on the salads and try to ask for a vinaigrette dressing instead of creamy, Also you should have their baked potato instead of fries. KFC - KFC has grilled chicken, and plenty of delicious vegetable sides, just avoid the biscuits, mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. Pollo Tropical - has delicious salads, rice bowls, wraps (I think) and more. If you know of any more PLEASE comment them so everyone else knows! Share! And now I will share with you some food you can make in the microwave of your hotel room Annie's - a organic frozen food brand that sells burritos, lasagna, TV dinners, and more! Trader Joe's - a grocery store with a huge frozen section with a ton of organic options. Also everything at TJ's is non-GMO Chamberlin's - a health food store chain that has a deli Whole Foods - another health food store chain that has a bigger deli Perdue - Frozen chicken nugget brand that is hormone free You can also find steam in the bag veggies in various freezer sections, aim for organic Another thing you can make in the microwave is a baked potato, simply poke holes in it with a knife or fork and then microwave on the potato setting. Hi guys, If you wondered where I've been I have been doing a bunch of stuff the last two weeks.
Tuesday, Dec 1 Picked up Emily from the airport, made Christmas cookies. Wednesday, Dec 2 Went on a road trip to Pappy's, went to the Beach. Thursday, Dec 3 Went to Marine land and saw dolphins, sharks, and turtles. The Dolphins are so adorable, they will throw a ball to you and you throw it back and they wait for you to throw it back, they are just so cute. I thought Dolphins were over rated but they really aren't they are so lovable. We also went to Medieval Times that night. The food was delicious and we had a lot of fun. Didn't get to see the dungeon because it was raining after, but I did get a picture with the king, and with his Knight. Friday, Dec 4 We went to Ripley's Believe it or not! They had a bunch of super creepy, weird, and disgusting things. Almost every thing there had a cool or interesting story behind it. I actually got so weirded out I wanted to leave in the middle of it. But we kept going all the way to the end and they had a really fun tunnel that looks like you are spinning and it disorients you. You feel like you're gonna fall over when you are actually not moving at all. That was my favorite part. The gift shop was pretty big, I was a little disappointed because none of the stuff actually said Ripley's believe it or not, it was just random stuff. Saturday, Dec 5 We went to the beach again but as soon as we got there we got hit by the heaviest rain ever and ran back inside then we were hanging out inside until we had to say Bye and go home from Pappy's. Sunday, Dec 6 Regular Sunday, we went to church. Monday, Dec 7 I had to go to Chick-fil-a to do paperwork, but they went to the Florida mall. Tuesday, Dec 8 They went to a play of "How the Grinch stole Christmas" Wednesday, Dec 9 We left for Fort Wilderness! We thought we could bring Dot but it turns out you can't have dogs in tents so my dad had to drive her all the way home. While he was gone we set up the tent (we were very happy with ourselves for figuring it out). And then we went in the Meadow Pool and hot tub. We met a bunch of adorable little kids there. We then went to Chip and Dale's campfire, and we did the sing along, and met Chip and Dale, and we stayed until the movie was starting but it was A Christmas Carol and everyone was really mad that they showed such a scary movie (especially since it opened showing a dead guy) and just about everyone left before it was even 2 minutes in, including us (I wanted to stay but everyone else was scared so we left) and then we went back to the pool, except me and Alexandra wanted to see the water parade so we started walking towards it and it took forever and we got more than halfway there and I asked some guy where it was and he said we went the wrong way but it turns out he was lying and we walked back and it was over by then and our legs were hurting from walking so far, we sat by the pool until it closed and then we went back to our campsite and sat by the fire until it was time to go to bed. We were really cold that night I did not sleep well, so next time I will be better prepared. Thursday, Dec 10 We woke up and I ate a blueberry muffin or two before grabbing the fishing pole, and going on a bus (my first time on a bus) down the marina, turned out you can't fish at the marina so we went on a ferry boat for free while we were there. We saw Magic Kingdom from the boat, it was really crowded. The train station there was so cute it looked just like a toy. After we got back we tried to go fishing but we weren't catching anything and so they gave us some worms and we tried again but the hook snapped off on some grass and I couldn't find it so I decided to go back to the bike barn later. We then went swimming in the pool for a while and after we were done I was going to go fishing with my new friend Nathan but the bike barn had closed so I couldn't get a hook. I decided to play tennis instead. We played that for a while but we were too tired to run after the ball and we decided to go do something else. So we went back to our camp sites and got s'mores supplies and went to Chip and Dale's camp fire. This time they played the movie "The Santa Clause" and I didn't get to finish it because I got too cold and they made me go back to get them blankets and my dad wanted me to stay at the camp and he made them come back too and we all missed the rest of the movie. I am kind of sad I didn't get to say Bye to Nathan because we had to leave the next day. Friday, Dec 11 Yesterday we packed up all of our stuff and went home, I took a nap almost the whole day before we had dinner and went to church. Saturday, Dec 12 I'm not sure what we are doing today but I will try to remember to fill all of you in! Thanks for Reading! I will give a link to Cc and Emily's blog about it when they finish it. I hope you all enjoy your thanksgiving, Please comment below your favorite food you ate or are going to eat today.
If you are making a Turkey tomorrow and want it done in only 1 hour (12 pound) I highly suggest you go to YouTube.com and check out GMM Turkey in a trash can, it's a perfectly clean trashcan. If you aren't interested in their goofy role playing while it's cooking just turn the sound off and skip the part of them singing but I thought it was funny. Also if you want to see the part of them tasting the Turkey type in good mythical more turkey and see if you see it. In other news I will be out of town from the 1st-5th but I will see if I can put up a Christmas room decor post. I'm also thinking about doing a what's in my suitcase post but it might be on my other blog modfash.weebly.com. Girls are a bit more complicated to shop for if they're older than 10 for girls under 10 you can basically just grab a cute toy from Toys R us and you're good. But as they get older it gets harder here is some help! Some of these are meant to be mixed with more because some are really small. Also remember every girl is at least two of these categories. Girly Girl >Manicure kit >Cute and fashionable clothes (try Justice, Claire's, Target) >Scarves (whole other category than clothes) >Jewelry >Nice curling wand (get one with gloves so they don't burn their self & only ages 13+) >Onesie (it's a trend don't ask me why) >Glittery Starbucks cup (look up how to make one) >Headbands (for younger girls) >Perfume The Hard working Girl These gifts are to make her life less stressful. >Foot bath >Massage Chair Cover (they can attach it to any chair) >A good book (if she likes reading) >Bulletin Board >Candles >EOS Chapstick The Artsy Girl>An "adult" coloring book (find at craft stores) >Canvas and paint >Sharpie set >Transfer Paper and some T-shirts (there's different types of paper for different shades of shirts) >Sketch Pad (you can find nice ones at Ross for less expensive) Wait there's more!
I believe you should wait until after thanksgiving to move on to Christmas but in this case you're probably going to be black Friday shopping so here is a quick gift guide for people who you just have no idea what they want. Note: the preteen and teen will most likely both work for 13 year old boys. These also work for Tomboys. Little Boy (2-5) >Stuffed animals >Kid movie >Hot wheels set >Candy (if okay with parents) >Basically any age appropriate toy >ANYTHING with their favorite character on it, including a toothbrush. (my cousin got a batman toothbrush for Christmas and he was really excited) >Books with sound (there are some books that will have audio as they turn pages) Tip: If you want them to love your present don't get them clothes, they would much rather get a toy when they're this young. Also if you give them money or a gift card they won't know what to do with it. Big Boy (6-10) >Remote control car >Scooter, kid car, or bike. >Superhero toys >Hot wheels set >Interesting Books (varies for the age of the kid and how much they like books) >Cartoon character wrist watch. >Fun in the tub set (Box with bath crayons, bath bomb, bubble bath, other soapy fun) >Art kit. (some kids don't like art you can usually tell if they can or not if you met them) Tip: If you want them to love your present don't get them clothes, they would much rather get a toy when they're this young. Preteen Boy (10-13) Preteen boys are very hard to shop for but here are some ideas: >Lego Sets >Graphic T-shirt with their favorite characters >Video games for whatever console they own, or Game stop gift card >Board Game (not something too young or too hard, etc Guess Who) >Minecraft toys/action figures Teen Boy (13-17) >Graphic T-shirt with their favorite characters or band. >Video games for whatever console they own, or Game stop gift card. >Strap-back hat. >iTunes gift card. >Air Jordan shoes, and/or socks (more on the expensive side) >Movie box (box with a movie, some popcorn, a soda and some candy) >Phone case (make sure it's for their specific phone) Grown men/Dads/Uncles >Money
>Restaurant gift card >BBQ sauce sets (find at Ross, TJMaxx, etc) >Food sets (you can put together a basket of all his favorite snacks) >Clothes (including ties and socks) >Coffee mug >Home Depot gift card >Razor set |
